Do you believe you can be a very good Christian without attending a church? To restate the question: Can God be powerfully at work in your life apart from being a part of Christ’s body, the church? The answer in the New Testament, consistently and without exception, is resoundingly NO (see Eph. 2).

The word fellowship is used many places in the New Testament. Many people don’t realize that fellowship is a discipline; not just something helpful but something commanded. Not just a useful exercise but a needed practice. One of the surest barometers of the quality of your Christian life is the quality of the Christian relationships in your life.
