Good evening everyone!

I know this is coming in late, but I and the rest of the Elder Team wanted to send you a quick notification.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances with our new building, resulting from our recent snowfall in the area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel service for tomorrow, Dec. 20. This includes Student Ministry, Worship Service, and the scheduled caroling after service.

This is not a decision we wanted to make, but it is one we had to make.

While this could be seen as a setback, we see it as an opportunity for families to spend some quality time before our first Christmas Eve service in the new building praying over those in our community we want to invite; those who will wander in for the first time looking for hope; and those who may be returning for the first time since COVID hit, looking to reconnect with their church family.

As you are spending time Sunday morning with your family, spend that time to pray, fast, and worship our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace! We are not a people without hope, and our hope has a name—Jesus!

Take some time to listen to this message from Matt Chandler, pastor of The Village Church in Texas, titled “An Unexpected Breakthrough”:

This message is appropriate for us as Mosaic of Winchester as we pray for God to move in and through our church, for the spreading of the gospel among the City of Winchester, Frederick County, Virginia, the United States, and the rest of the world.

We love you all and are looking forward to worshiping with you again on Christmas Eve!
