LOVING OUR LITTLE ONES
At Mosaic of Winchester, your child can be part of an exciting and active environment filled with Gospel-centered lessons, songs, and games. Jesus told the disciples to let the little children come to Him, and we want to create an environment where our children can learn about Christ on their level.
Our children’s ministries are described below.
During church service, your child will be given time to play, hear Bible stories, and be prayed over in a calm, nurturing environment.
While we stock a large assortment of baby items, we ask that you bring anything your child may need during service—such as diapers, wipes, pacifiers, food items, etc.
Our nursery area is always staffed by two church volunteers, and is sometimes assisted by a junior, teenaged volunteer.
Toddlers 2-3 Years Old
Our toddler care focuses on different, understandable aspects of God’s love through videos and playtime that will help foster a growth in the foundation of Christ in their lives.
Two church volunteers, as well as a junior, teenaged volunteer, always staff our toddlers’ area.
Pre-K to Kindergarten
Our preschool and kindergarten-aged service initiates a personal, social, and cultural transformation by connecting kids with a biblical worldview.
During service, the kids learn Bible lessons through video and instruction, sing songs, play games, and begin verse memorization.
Our Pre-K to Kindergarten area is staffed by two church volunteers, and is sometimes assisted by a junior, teenage volunteer.
Kid’s Church (1st-4th Grade)
Our Kid’s Church is just like it sounds—church for kids! During service, the kids learn a Bible lesson, sing songs, complete projects, and continue verse memorization.
The purpose of Kid’s Church is to ground these young minds in a biblical worldview, equipping them—on their level—to be ambassadors for Christ.
Our Kid’s Church area is staffed by two church volunteers, and is sometimes assisted by a junior, teenage volunteer.
the Gospel Project for Kids (9:00 am)
The Gospel Project take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. The 9:00 hour is broken into younger and older elementary groups.
